FLOWER CARE

How to keep your petals peaky!

We want you to keep your flowers as long as possible,  so we have created a source of information to help you get the best of from your blooms. Follow our flower care guide and learn some helpful tips and tricks on how to care for your flowers.

To get the best from your flower arrangement that has been designed especially for you, we recommend leaving the strung on your Bouquet if your think the vase wont support the flowers in its arrangement.

Before you start, be sure to snap a pic to skite about them to your friends on Instagram and don't forget to tag us littlebirkflorals.

Remove or carefully fold back the wrapping off your flowers and cut the stems on an angle with sharp clean scissors. Place the flowers in a clean vase with fresh water and remove any foliage (leaves) or greenery that sits below the water level to help the water stay as fresh as possible. Rinse the vase, change the water and re-cut the stems every 1-2 days.

Keep the flowers away from direct sunlight and air-conditioning or heating and avoid placing them near fruit or vegetables as this will shortens their lifespan.

All flowers have different lifespans - so as some of your flowers reach the end of their life, you may need to remove them and transfer the remaining blooms over to a smaller vessle. Cut the stems as you do this and keep changing the water and keep the vase nice and clean, the general rule of thumb is, if its not clean enough to drink from then its not clean enough for your flowers.

Enjoy your LBF blooms!
